Hermine Basso (Schima) has over twenty years' experience in advertising, public relations & marketing, over twelve of which has been spent in website design. In addition to working in Public Communications & Sales for WBZ-TV4 in Boston, Hermine also spearheaded regional fundraising activities & special events for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation, and has an extensive background in mortgage finance marketing.

In 1995, The Editors Advertising Agency was purchased by PubsNet Incorporated, and Hermine was hired to revive the 20 year old advertising agency. She most recently served as Advertising Director/Project Manager, and was instrumental in bringing on the staff that had made The Editors Web Design Group one of the premiere web development solutions for New England during the late 90's and early 2000's. As well as spearheading the creative direction of 90% of The Editors web projects at that time, Hermine was also solely responsible for designing/creating many of the projects herself.

The birth of her son in October of 1998 resulted in the realization that the only way to be successful at both motherhood and business was to take a risk, and be her own boss. Hermine recognized the need for cost-effective web site design solutions for small businesses, and Hermine Design was established.

Even before the company's first anniversary, Hermine Design surpassed all financial goals, and built a clientele of more then 30 different small businesses. Currently, HermineDesign handles more than 1000 clients, and has carved out a niche in helping Real Estate agents personalize their real estate home pages. Statistically, 90% of her business comes from word of mouth and personal referrals.

September of 2004 saw Hermine's son begin full-time school. This has enabled her to restructure the distribution of work and family time to focus on decreasing the turnaround on new client projects and client website maintenance tasks.

In June of 2005, Hermine Design teamed up with enHancedMLS.com to become the exclusive graphic designer for enHancedMLS.com's H3 Realtor website system.
